By installing or using any Shopify app published by MAY Plugins (“the App”), you (“Merchant”, “you”) agree to these Terms. Each app has an annex describing what that app does and does not do; the annex forms part of these Terms.
1. The service
Our apps are tools that read data from your Shopify store and act on it in the specific, limited way described in each app’s annex — for example by monitoring, alerting, or generating content you review.
2. What our apps are not
- They are not a system of record, and they do not replace your own checks.
- They do not control, correct, or overwrite your store data unless an app’s annex explicitly says so, and then only for actions you have opted into.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for your store data, your business decisions, and for acting (or not acting) on what an app tells you.
- You must provide accurate settings (such as an alert email address) and keep them current.
- You must use the App lawfully, and must not attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it.
4. No guarantee — please read
We work hard to make our apps correct and dependable, but we do not and cannot guarantee that an App will detect every issue, detect it immediately, or be error-free. Detection depends on the data Shopify makes available to us and on the thresholds you configure.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” You should not rely on it as your only safeguard against errors, oversells, or lost sales.
5. Billing
- Free and paid plans are offered. Paid plans are billed through Shopify Billing, and charges appear on your Shopify invoice.
- Paid plans include a 14-day free trial unless stated otherwise: 30 evaluation credits, enough for 10 full products. Your plan’s monthly credits begin at your first charge. Prices may change; existing subscribers will be notified of changes that affect them.
- You can cancel at any time from the App or your Shopify admin. Shopify’s billing terms and refund rules apply.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, improve, or modify an App, and may change or discontinue features. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes.
7. Termination
You may uninstall an App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or for misuse. On uninstall, we delete your store’s data as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, lost sales, oversells, or inventory losses, arising from your use of (or inability to use) an App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that App in the three months before the claim.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Amsterdam, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction.
